Noise Survey: Legacy Centre Office Building

AGI staff managed an ambient noise survey at Legacy Centre in Seattle, Washington.   Across the street, a demolition procedure was in the process and Legacy Partners Commercial, Inc. (LPCI) asked AGI to collect and document existing background noise levels in the office areas without contributions from the inside occupant activity and outside demolition noise.  Without any criteria from the City of Seattle Noise Ordinance to regulate interior noise levels in a commercial and industrial area, the AGI staff followed the industry standard Noise Criterion (NC) curves as guidelines to evaluate the data that was collected.

            After collecting and analyzing the data, AGI can conclude that the measurements data shows us that the noise level in the interior ranges from NC35 to NC 50.  The exterior noise level ranges from 50 dBA to 70 nearly dBA when facing the demolition area.
